The Screaming Bear by Shaun Keenan
The Screaming Bear is a short film made in Taiwan about a pretty girl (Jessica Lin) who loses her stuffed bear on the train. Some other passengers see what happens, but none of them acts, and the bear is sitting lonely on the floor while the girl prepares to exit the train. Watching the lost little bear evokes fantasies, traumatic memories, and regrets in them. It wouldn’t take much to help, but will at least one of the observers of the little drama overcome their fears and inhibitions, save the bear and at the same time redeem himself?
An original idea, transferred to the screen with interesting actors and apt direction, well worth watching.
